• Provide a child with 8 meals, snacks, juice or milk, and fresh produce for a weekend! Each bag is strategically packed with kid-approved, dietician-reviewed meals, and snacks. The bag is black so other children cannot see what is inside and it is placed in the child's backpack while they are out of the classroom. Many kids themselves do not realize they are on the Backpack Program, let alone their classmates.
  • You can help put food insecurity on vacation with our Spring Break box! For just $35, you can sponsor a child's grocery box, which will keep them full during their whole break. This box provides three nutritious meals a day, healthy snacks, milk, wheat bread, a frozen protein, and fresh produce for the entire break! We've got more kids on the BackPack Program than ever, so we need your support!
  • Kids love ravioli.
  • When you think of Mac & Cheese from the blue box, you’re instantly flashed back to childhood.
  • Canned tuna is a staple for the kids we feed.
  • Apple sauce and fruit cups are something we all used to look forward to as a kid.

  • We love fruits and veggies and we want our kiddos to also! Help us provide our children with healthy nudges by providing them fresh fruit and hearty vegetables every weekend and during all school breaks. Produce is paired with recipe ideas and simple sides like individual servings of honey, peanut butter, or ranch dressing.
  • By making this donation, we’ll be able to provide a child with weekend bags for an entire year and feed them during all school breaks! THAT's what it means to be a TRUE Hunger Hero! This is an incredible gift and one that has the power to change the course of a child’s life for the better. Each weekend bag includes 7-8 meals, snacks, and fresh produce. • Our mobile “Farmers MarKID” is a direct and hands on approach to improving the health of children in our community. We take free fresh fruits and vegetables to wherever kids need us: food deserts, parks, playgrounds, after school programs, high need schools, and other nonprofits. At the MarKID children receive “Nourish Bucks” and “shop” for produce just like you would at a regular farmer’s market. In front of each produce item is kid friendly information on why it is healthy and good for you. The MarKID is designed to be transactional and educational for kids. It also designed so the family has something to cook in the home. After children have “paid” for their produce it is bagged up with a healthy recipe booklet for the parents to use in the home!
  • Give over 1,300 kids on our BackPack Program the gift of a Happy, Healthy Holiday Break from school! This grocery box provides three nutritious meals a day and snacks with pantry staples like cereal, milk, pasta & pasta sauce, soups, ravioli, mac & cheese, canned veggies, and more PLUS fresh produce, a loaf of bread, and meat for the entire holiday break! This year, we're excited to offer our families cookie kits as well so that they can enjoy the holiday tradition of cookie making and decorating!
