• Ice Out Hunger with Jammin 99.9

    Suggested Donation: $20.00
Throughout the month of October, Alan Perry from Perry’s Emporium will be donating a portion of every piece of diamond jewelry sold to NourishNC- so join him in the effort to ice out hunger and ensure every kiddo in New Hanover County has a full belly this weekend. With a suggested donation of just $20.00, you can feed TWO children in our community for the whole weekend - each receiving 8 meals, 7 snacks, and a juice or milk. If you REALLY hate hunger, become a Jammin' 99.9 SUPERSTAR by donating $99.90 and receive a Jammin 99.9 swag! (First 20 contributors) Stay tuned to Jammin' 99.9 to hear more about ICING OUT HUNGER with Perry’s Emporium- where Wilmington gets engaged.
  • Provide a child with 8 meals, snacks, juice or milk, and fresh produce for a weekend! Each bag is strategically packed with kid-approved, dietician-reviewed meals, and snacks. The bag is black so other children cannot see what is inside and it is placed in the child's backpack while they are out of the classroom. Many kids themselves do not realize they are on the Backpack Program, let alone their classmates.
