51mPMMdBvWLIt’s the first Monday of the month which means that it is Buy 1 Give 1 Happy Meal day at all Wilmington area McDonalds.

Simply swing by any area McDonalds today, July 6th, and purchase a Happy Meal. For every Happy Meal sold McDonalds will donate a free Happy Meal voucher to a local charity serving children. One of those charities is NourishNC!

Thanks to your participation in this effort, NourishNC has been able to distribute over 1,000 Happy Meal vouchers to chronically hungry students in our area since April!

The Backpack Program provides food insecure children, pre-K through 5th grade, with three nutritious meals a day, every weekend, and over every school break.

Food Farmacy

The Food Farmacy Program provides non-perishable and fresh food items through partner organizations such as schools, pediatrician offices, and other nonprofits.
